I set up Raspberry Flamingo after a life changing accident which meant I could no longer run my previous business. (That’s such a glamorous photo of me isn’t it!!)

I was on so many prescribed drugs I could literally only concentrate for a couple of hours every couple of days.

Yes, I’d been self-employed before… but never as a writer.

I had to start from somewhere. I had bills to pay and after not being able to work, or indeed walk, for 18 months I just had to bite the bullet.

Did my vision for Raspberry Flamingo back then look anything like it is today…? Absolutely not!

I thought I’d work part time – full time if I was really lucky – and bring enough in to pay the bills.

Now… well, I not only have other writers drafting client work for me, but I get to help ambitious writers develop their business too… and if I’m really fortunate I get to find writers who fit beautifully into our Flock so Raspberry Flamingo’s ‘done for you’ offering can expand even further.
